Evaluación de los procedimientos aproximados para determinar el diseño de amortiguadores de fluido viscoso no-lineales

El propósito principal de esta investigación es comparar la efectividad de los procedimientos más utilizados para el diseño y distribución de amortiguadores de fluido viscoso no-lineal en marcos de acero. Estos procedimientos consisten en idealizar el comportamiento de los estos dispositivos como un sistema simplificado, con la finalidad utilizar el análisis modal espectral tal y como se indica en los códigos de diseño. Para ilustrar la aplicación de estos procedimientos se propone diseñar cuatro modelos de acero con diferente número de entrepisos, e irregularidades en planta. Para comparar la efectividad de estos procedimientos se propone determinar la respuesta de los marcos diseñados utilizando análisis no-lineales historia-tiempo. A partir de los resultados se puede evaluar en términos de las distorsiones, aceleraciones, fuerzas cortantes y de amortiguamiento máximas de entrepiso. Como demanda sísmica se propone un conjunto de registros sísmicos como los que afectan al Valle de México. De los resultados obtenidos se pueden analizar las ventajas y desventajas de cada uno de los procedimientos analizados y con ello determinar cuál es el procedimiento que proporciona los mejores resultados.
